Virginia Mason is seeking a Qualified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to provide patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. As a Qualified Nursing Assistant duties will consist of, but are not limited to: assisting clients with activities of day-to-day living (bathing, grooming, feeding, standard health); carrying out standard patient care activities such as essential indications, observation and reporting of signs and symptoms of disease state, posturals, basic dressing modifications; helping in client movement such as ambulating, turning, placing and series of motion workouts; performing EKGs, carrying out bedside screening such as blood sugar, colon screening, dextrose secretions and particular gravity.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Washington State Department of Health Certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA-C), or an LPN
Great oral and written interaction skills
Fundamental computer skills
Experience as a nursing assistant
Able to lift, move or assist patients using appropriate body mechanics
Able to periodically raise or push up to 50 pounds. and bring up to 100 pounds.
Preferred: EKG Tech skills.
For Patient Care Technicians performing work at Bailey-Boushay House, OBRA Pc Registry through DSHS is required sometimes of hire and should be preserved throughout employment at Bailey-Boushay House.
