The crisis emerges after the relief and government funding bill won sweeping bipartisan approval this week in the Home and Senate.
However Mr. Trump is now calling the bundle a “disgrace” and calling for $2,000 checks.
Mr. Trump’s choice to attack the costs has been seen, at least in part, as political punishment for what he thinks about inadequate backing by congressional Republicans of his project to overturn the outcomes of the Nov. 3 election with unproven claims of voter fraud.
