This story has to do with the personal struggles of being a Black Lady and being a Black Expert in a society that is still bound with racial and gender bias. Her stories navigate you through the profession of a young woman who has hopes, dreams, needs, a function and aspirations but she deals with constant opposition to fulfilling and obtaining these standard human requirements. Thus many people of color before her, she achieves a specific procedure of success but the step of success is small compared to what she needs to do to achieve it. It is a reflection of the misery she was feeling when she wrote it but does not totally expose the gratitude, empathy and love that she has for mankind. It is time for a modification!
