What You Will Do
You will provide patient/resident care as needed under the direct guidance of the certified nurse. Finishing assigned jobs to make sure prompt, efficient and safe patient/resident care, while communicating and interacting with clients, homeowners, households and other health staff member is an essential component of this position. You need to want to work a flexible schedule, that might consist of weekends and/or vacations, in order to help with the application of care plans for our citizens.
Key Responsibilities
Performs preliminary and continuous data collection on all patients/residents under the instructions of the RN or LPN
Implements strategy of care developed by the Registered Nurse based upon patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual requirements
Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to Registered Nurse or LPN
Ensures resident security by recognizing security risks and emergency situation scenarios and initiates restorative action as suitable.
Documents outcomes of patient/resident care within recognized policies, procedures and scope of practice
Complies with all ministry policies and procedures
Other duties as appointed
What You Will Need

Qualified Nurse Assistant in IL
Preferred Education/Experience
BLS certification
High school diploma or GED
Previous hospital or long-term care experience
