Teddi Jallow is a refugee from the Gambia who arrived in the U.S. in2009 Together with her partner, she established the Refugee Dream Center, which offers education, health referrals, and case management to refugees from West Africa. Teddi has actually worked as a community organizer, case manager, and interpreter and speaks numerous languages of Western African populations consisting of Fula and Wolof. She works as a Qualified Nursing Assistant and Medical Specialist and is currently acquiring a degree at Rhode Island College.
