We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our knowledgeable retirement home The Gardens at East-Mountain in Wilkes-Barre PA!

You will work along with fellow caretakers to supply each of your appointed residents with regular everyday nursing care and services in accordance with the citizen’s evaluation and care strategy as a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA.

Duties:

  • Help residents with everyday dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral health, unique mouth care, etc.), with bath functions (i.e., bed, bath tub or shower bath, etc) and with hair care functions (i.e., combing, brushing, shampooing, etc.)
  • Change bedding. Keep linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under the homeowner
  • Assist homeowner with bowel and bladder functions (i.e., require to restroom, offer bedpan/urinal, portable commode, etc)
  • Help residents in getting ready for activity and social programs (i.e. church services, parties, visitors, etc)
  • Modification dressings, plasters, binders, and so on, as instructed
  • Guarantee that citizens who are not able to call for help are inspected frequently

Certifications:

  • Active Licensed Nursing Assistant Accreditation
