Virginia Mason is looking for a Qualified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to provide client care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. As a Certified Nursing Assistant duties will consist of, but are not restricted to: assisting patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, feeding, fundamental health); carrying out standard patient care activities such as crucial signs, observation and reporting of signs and symptoms of disease state, posturals, easy dressing changes; assisting in patient mobility such as ambulating, turning, positioning and range of movement workouts; performing EKGs, carrying out bedside testing such as blood sugar, colon screening, dextrose secretions and particular gravity.

Certifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Washington State Department of Health Certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA-C), or an LPN
Good oral and written communication abilities
Basic computer system abilities
Experience as a nursing assistant
Able to lift, move or assist patients utilizing appropriate body mechanics
Able to sometimes raise or rise to 50 lbs. and pull up to 100 lbs.
Preferred: EKG Tech skills.
For Patient Care Technicians carrying out work at Bailey-Boushay House, OBRA Registry through DSHS is needed at time of hire and should be kept throughout employment at Bailey-Boushay Home.
