Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:
- Offers basic care such as bathing, dressing, shampooing of hair, nail trimming, cleaning of teeth, hair care, and shaving of residents or assists residents to do their own care within limitation.
- Responsible for making and changing beds.
- Attends to citizen’s individual health needs as needed. May help locals to and from the restroom and offer bed pan.
- Serves meals to citizens and helps those who can not feed themselves or need assistance with their meals. Records food and fluid consumption per policy and treatments.
- Carries out individual care and services to satisfy private resident needs and preferences.
- Communicates to improve dignity and regard.
- Answers call lights as required, bearing in mind that employees must respond to all calls no matter who has instant obligation for the local.
- Reports any modification of condition or uncommon findings to the system nurse per policy and procedures.
- Uses aseptic technique in all resident care. Follows Universal Measures.
- Helps in transfer maneuvers, using appropriate body mechanics and gait belts per policy.
- Files required citizens’ info as detailed by the facility policy and treatments.
Credentials
What You Will Required:
- Licensed Nursing Assistant License or meets one of the following criteria that will lead to accreditation within 120 days of work:
- Is licensed as a CNA in another state and is awaiting certification by reciprocity in present state
- Has completed and has proof of passing an accreditation test, but is still waiting for the actual Licensed Nursing Assistant certificate
Job Summary:
Assist expert nursing workers in supplying nursing care and simple technical nursing services under the direction and guidance of a signed up nurse or certified useful nurse.
