Massachusetts' Charlie Baker signs up with governors facing COVID criticism

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, a Republican Politician who has regularly polled as the most popular governor in the country, is dealing with decreasing fundraising numbers in the middle of rising criticism for his handling of the coronavirus, stirring questions about whether he’ll seek re-election next year or even try to pass the torch early.

A Boston Herald columnist just recently raised the specter of Baker taking a golden parachute by heading 2 recently merged health care business– Tufts Health Strategy and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, where Baker previously served as CEO.

One Baker consultant informed Axios that when Baker leaves workplace– nearly definitely not before any term ends– the guv is unlikely to assume a CEO function.
