TheCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supplies quality nursing care to geriatric residents; carries out various resident care activities and other services needed in caring for the individual needs and comforts of citizens in a proficient nursing environment; execute particular treatments and programs; coordinate work within the department, in addition to with other departments; report important details to the immediate manager; respond to inquiries or ask for information; assist the immediate manager with tasks to support department operations.

- Safeguard the individual belongings of each resident including spectacles, dentures, hearing aids, furnishings, precious jewelry, clothing, souvenirs, etc. Promptly report missing items according to established policy and participate in efforts to find missing out on items.
- Observe citizens for changes in condition or habits and quickly report these changes to proper licensed nursing personnel.
- Offer care that maintains each residents skin integrity to avoid pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent locals, turning, repositioning immobile locals, and applying moisturizers to delicate skin, and so on
- Answer citizens call bells quickly and courteously.

Perform different jobs designated by the charge nurse consisting of crucial indications, citizens weights, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, and so on
- Assist with orienting residents and their families to the assisted living home upon admission and to the unit when transfers take place.

RELATED EXPERIENCE: Preferred 1 year CNA experience
EDUCATION OR DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma or equivalent; successful conclusion of a Pennsylvania state-approved Nursing Assistant Accreditation course or other education which fulfills state certification requirements
LICENSES, ACCREDITATIONS, REGISTRATIONS: Need to hold current Nursing Assistant Certification in Pennsylvania
