Nursing Assistant Qualified CNA - Full-time

Summary:

Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, performs fundamental patient care activities.

Work Set Up: Full-time (36 hours a week, 72 hours per pay period), Flex/Rotating Shifts

Responsibilities:

Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by a RN, including however not limited to, monitoring essential signs, taking blood sugar measurements, and recording intake and output.

Helps clients with tending to individual care and activities of everyday living, consisting of but not restricted to, bathing, grooming and eating.

Reports irregular findings or changes in physical, psychological and emotional conditions to nursing personnel.

Assists with keeping unit( s) and client spaces equipped, tidy, and orderly.

Withinscope of job, requires critical thinking abilities, decisive judgement and theability to deal with very little supervision. Must be able to work in afast-paced environment and take suitable action.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Needed Licensure/Certification:
  • Licensed as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be great through sixty days of hire. All life assistance certification cards should be released by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Expert Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Expert Rescuer is only great upon hire and all renewals will require to be through an American Heart Association approved course.)
  • Minimum Experience: None required.
