Responsibilities
Offer personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recuperating from surgical treatments, injuries or accidents by attending to their fundamental needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
Assistance customers take recommended medication and assist customers with ambulation
Help with movement around the house or outdoors (doctor’s consultations, walks and so on)
Help with personal care and health, strategy and prepare meals and help with physical treatment workouts
Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to effectively do so
Perform housekeeping tasks and report any uncommon incidents
Act quickly and properly in cases of emergency
Offer activities that are necessary for everyday living by helping patients with their meals, consisting of serving and other jobs, if necessary
Qualifications
Enjoy working in an one-on-one setting, eager to enhance and continuously discover brand-new skills
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical ability to carry out job-related duties
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport every single day
Validated ability to act in a thoughtful and supportive way
Available to work various shifts, including nights and/or weekends
Previous experience in a health care, hospitality, or at home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Determination to implement health and safety standards
Helpful and caring
High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or conclusion of a CNA Program
Take pride in providing high quality care
Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
