Summary of Duties:

Qualified Nursing Assistant– CNA will be accountable for providing each of the appointed homeowners with regular everyday nursing care and services in accordance with the local’s assessment and care strategy as directed.

Necessary Task Functions:

  • Help in providing nursing care to citizens as designated including activities of day-to-day living such as bathing, consuming, grooming, toileting, and obtaining essential signs.
  • Offer and record medication assistance as directed.
  • Supply help to the residents as required in getting ready for medical screening, activities programs, and visitation.
  • Maintain homeowners living area clean, neat, and change linens as directed.
  • Greet newly confessed locals upon admission. Escort citizen to space.
  • Report changes in the homeowner’s condition (i.e., areas of inflammation, skin tears, bruising, mental status change, eating routines, medical needs, etc.) to the charge nurse right away.
  • Check each resident routinely to guarantee that his/her personal care needs are being satisfied in accordance with his/her dreams as required.
  • Help in transporting homeowners to/from visits, activity and social programs, etc., as required.
  • Help with lifting, turning, moving, placing, and transferring homeowners into and out of beds, chairs, tubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc., as necessary.
  • Obtain and tape-record the citizen’s blood sugar, as directed, using the Free Style Glucose Keeping track of device.
  • Utilize the Smart Charting IPAC to record the selected ADLs and meals.
  • Total incident reports in a timely way along.
  • Perform other responsibilities as appointed.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or comparable chosen. Should be a Licensed Nursing Assistant– CNA or acquire accreditation within 4 months of hire. Certified Nursing Assistant– CNA experience chosen.

Physical Requirements for Vital Job Functions:

  • Must be able to move consistently throughout the work day.
  • Needs to have the ability to reach, bend, and/or stoop intermittently throughout the work day.
  • Must have the ability to see and hear or use prosthetics that will make it possible for these senses to function properly to guarantee that the requirements of this position can be fully satisfied.
  • Needs to have the ability to push, pull, or move a minimum of 100 pounds making use of appropriate body mechanics and assistance.
  • Must be able to walk/stand 75% of the day.
  • Needs to be able to handle the mental and emotional tension of the position.
