A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides care in many different settings under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This 120 hour program (90 hrs. classroom, 30 hrs. clinical experience) prepares you with the knowledge and skills needed to assist “sick” patients and the elderly with direct patient care. This care includes tasks related to daily living such as assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, and taking vital signs. Reading, comprehension, and retention of instruction requires a high school grade 9-11 level of ability to be successful in this program.
