Medical Careers is an exciting program designed for students interested in pursuring a health care career! In the first semester you’ll explore different Health Care Careers, Medical Terminology, CPR and First Aid, and Foundations of Health Care. The second semester provides you with entry-level patient care skills, Introduction to Disease Condition, Exploration of Nursing Specialties, and the eligibility to take the Certified Nursing Assistant Exam with the Colorado State Board of Nursing. Both semesters emphasize hands-on learning in laboratory settings and in various health care institutions in the community.
