One Last Dream

Time is never ever on our side. It’s always selfishly working versus us. When Sarah went missing out on, time slipped by with the blink of an eye, and the faster it passed, the faster I lost hope. Hope that she ‘d still live. Hope that she would get back safely. And it wasn’t until Officer Reed Parker knocked on my door that I believed it was lastly over. It’ll never ever be over. They discovered her body. She’s dead. Who took her? Who eliminated her? Was it the same set of eyes that stalked me in the night, hiding behind corners, between cars, and waiting? For what? To take me, next? When individuals I enjoy most start slipping away from me, fingers begin pointing in various instructions and I wonder who I can really trust. That’s the thing about time, it’s unlimited, but eventually you run out of it.
