Recommends supervising charge nurse of homeowner= s status at beginning and end of shift
Contributes understanding of residents conditions/needs to resident care strategies
Helps in the implementation of care plans as directed within the criteria of established policy and procedure
Observes and reports on citizens conditions, and documents observations as required
Promotes safe/clean environment
Complies with requirements of treatments for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of citizens per recognized policies and procedures.
Should be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting
Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time
Guarantees that equipment is clean and functional
Attends in-service training programs.
Keeps compliance with requirements in compliance program/plan
Other Functions
Carries out incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as might be required to preserve a clean, hazard-free environment for locals, visitors, and personnel.
