The Principle Investigator is Paul F. Aravich, PhD, Professor of Pathology & Anatomy, Geriatrics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (aravicpf@evms.edu) at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA. (https://www.evms.edu/) The grant title is: Strike Teams and the COVID-19 LTC Facility Behavioral Health Crisis. It is a collaboration with the globally acknowledged Standardized Patient program at Eastern Virginia Medical School; the nationally acknowledged documentary production proficiency of VPM Media Corporation in Richmond, VA, which offers NPR and PBS programing; and with a Statewide Steering Committee of specialists on, e.g., nursing homes, aging, the dementias, brain injury, and pandemic/disaster relief.
