Saturday’s UFC Fight Night co-main occasion including lightweights Gregor Gillespie and Brad Riddell is off due to COVID-19 procedures, the promo announced Saturday early morning.
The event will advance with 10 fights.
The plan is to reschedule the light-weight bout in between Gillespie and Riddell to a later date.
The Tune Kenan vs. Max Griffin welterweight bout will move into the co-main occasion spot on Saturday’s Fight Night card, per the UFC.
Gillespie (13 -1), once considered a leading prospect at lightweight, was trying to recover from the very first loss of his career to Kevin Lee together with a 16- month layoff.
Riddell (9-1), a teammate of UFC champs Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski, has won six directly.
UFC Battle Night is headlined by a middleweight contender bout in between Derek Brunson and the red-hot Kevin Holland, who went 5-0 in 2020.
