BANYAN PEDIATRIC CARE CENTER – Deliver experienced nursing services to medically vulnerable, technology reliant children birth through 21 years of age in a multi-disciplinary, developmentally proper center-based environment. Banyan is fully certified and accepts Florida Medicaid.
A PPEC (Recommended Pediatric Extended Care) is a nurse-staffed pediatric day care center for medically intricate kids age birth to 21 years. Our personnel includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Accredited Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Caretakers, who take care of the children’s medical conditions throughout the day in classroom, dining, play, and medical settings.
This allows our team to closely keep an eye on and determine any modifications in medical condition and help with early intervention to avoid complications. The Registered Nurse case supervisor directs the children’s care while at the center and preserves communication with center personnel, main and specialty physicians, therapists, and instructors.
