Compassionate Crisis Care is a series of videos to enhance assisted living home quality.
This effort was moneyed by a CDC Nursing Home & Long-Term Care Facility Strike Team and Infrastructure Project grant by method of a CDC Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Cooperative Agreement with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and its Virginia LTC Infrastructure Pilot Project (VLIPP) program to Eastern Virginia Medical School. The Principle Investigator is Paul F. Aravich, PhD, Professor of Pathology & Anatomy, Geriatrics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA. (aravicpf@evms.edu). The grant title is: Strike Teams and the COVID-19 LTC Facility Behavioral Health Crisis. It is a collaboration with the worldwide acknowledged Standardized Patient program at Eastern Virginia Medical School and the nationally acknowledged documentary knowledge of VPM Media Corporation in Richmond, VA, which offers NPR and PBS programing.
