This program discusses Role and Obligations of Nursing Assistant, Homeowners Rights, Interaction and Social skills, Prevention and Management of Catastrophe and Uncommon Occurrences, Body Mechanics, Medical and Surgical Asepsis, Weights and Steps, Client Care Skills, Patient Care Procedures, Important Indications, Nutrition, Emergency Situation Procedures, Long Term Care Patients, Rehabilitative Nursing, Observation and Charting, and Death and Perishing. Completion of this program also prepares the trainee to take the competency assessment, which qualifies the candidate for the State (California) accreditation as a Nurse Assistant to become CNA. Program Requirements/Admissions: Must be at least 16 years of ages; Total admissions process; Pass the entrance exam with 70% or better. Should be able to have an English and Math skills at the fifth grade level or higher; Total an enrollment and monetary agreement; Need to have an existing legitimate ID and Social Security Card/Number; Need to pass a TB screening carried out by physician; Should completed live scan/fingerprinting criminal background screening; The school reserves the right to decline trainee if the products listed above are not successfully fulfilled.
