The PNLV Health Equity Fellowship is centered in the idea that wellness is a basic human right and that everyone deserves a fair and simply chance to be as healthy as possible.

We acknowledge that in your area significant barriers to maximum health exist such as bigotry, power imbalances and poverty. These oppressive factors as well as inequities throughout the social factors of health significantly disparately affect the health and life outcomes of marginalized and susceptible communities.

We will acknowledge the scholarship, leadership and opportunity for partnering with regional context and content experts to provide an understanding in the foundations of health inequity and to establish the next generation of health care leaders.
