Fifty isolation containers will be provided to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) by the end of June. SGH said these will increase capacity and its capability to handle thought COVID-19 cases, when the requirement emerges. Each unit is an unfavorable pressure single space, designed to prevent airborne diseases from leaving. All 50 units will use up an area of around 3,000 sqm, at the site of two closed parking lot. The containers will be released gradually from July.
